Halloween has always been one of my favorite Holidays with seasonal themed parties great to be part of.....Halloween parties, Costume Contests, Scaryoke, Trick or Treating door to door for candy, Boo Bashes, Haunted Houses, carving Jack O Lanterns, bobbing for apples or just crazy spooky FUN!
One of my favorite memories of Halloweens Past was at 10 years old, when my Mom made me a custom Cousin It (from Addam's Family) costume. She dyed a sheet brownish color and made a wig of brown yarn that hung to the floor. Then the finishing part was the little black derby. I remember trying to talk like Cousin It which was mostly just gibberish. I was so excited to be in the costume contest and thought I might even win! But.....I lost out to Barbie! I did get honorable mention for being creative. Thanks Mom.
Since those days I have always enjoyed being a part of Halloween activities from DJing and Officiating the Costume Contests, to coming up with new and different costumes each year. At a wedding just this last Saturday, the Wedding Party was introduced to the Monster Mash and the Bride & Groom's Grand Entrance was to Michael Jackson's Thriller. Which brought the House Down! That was ghoulish fun!
No matter how you celebrate this year...I hope you have a scary good time with lots of Tricks and Treats! Booooooooo!
P.S. Where does Dracula handle his finances? Why at the Blood Bank.....of course....Ha Ha Ha!
